Cisco Bids Farewell to Excess Program: What It Means for V3 Customers
Kyle Whitaker
As a customer of Cisco's Excess program for the last decade, V3 has always relied on it to provide top-quality, pre-owned Cisco hardware at competitive prices. Cisco announced in August that in an effort to consolidate redundant programs, Excess would fold into Refresh. Refresh is a program that is designed to help partners obtain high quality used, SmartNet eligible gear.
What Does This Mean for Customers?
With the recent announcement of the end of the Cisco Excess program, V3 Distribution wants to assure our customers that we will continue to deliver the same high-quality Cisco gear you have come to expect. Throughout the last month, V3 took a large stocking position on Excess product. In addition, our deep relationships within the industry allow us to source and supply a wide range of Cisco hardware, even as the Excess program phases out.
How V3 Can Help You
Though the program is ending, we remain committed to helping customers maintain and expand their network and server infrastructure without breaking the bank. By leveraging our extensive experience, vast network of vendors and current stock of Excess products, we can still provide the same affordable and reliable Cisco solutions. In addition, V3 Distribution has many other OEM relationships that can help with your network and datacenter needs.
