Warranty Policy

V3 Distribution warrants that products purchased from us will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when in normal use for 90 days from the invoice date. This warranty is transferable to your customers. At your request we will modify or custom configure your order. We are not responsible for nor do we guarantee functionality, compatibility, or warranty. At our discretion, we may use refurbished, used or remanufactured parts or end-of-life components as necessary. We may use compatible or alternative parts when indicated.


Date of purchase is defined as the invoice date from us. For the warranty period described above, V3 will issue a credit for defective parts and materials necessary for the warranted product(s). Products and serial numbers must match our records for the warranty to be honored. If the product(s) returned to us does not match our original or subsequent replacement parts or serial numbers, you agree to pay us for the replacement cost of the products.


Products purchased from us with a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty process and support will take precedent over any of our warranty obligations. The customer must contact us first to initiate all warranty claims to determine what items are covered under the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty and/or our warranty. Failure to do so could void our warranty. At your request, we may help facilitate the OEM warranty process and at our discretion act an intermediary between you and the OEM. Our 90-day warranty is considered secondary to any OEM warranty. Should we choose to replace any OEM warranted products on your behalf, you are required to return the provided replacement products to us.


Replacement parts do not extend the original warranty period. Replacement parts may be new, previously used, or refurbished. Replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects for the remainder of the original 90-day warranty period. We reserve the right to replace with equal or better technology without any incremental charges to the customer.


Support will be provided using remote diagnosis or other service delivery methods at our sole discretion. This warranty does not cover any hardware or software installation, or maintenance costs of any warranted products. The 90 day warranty is return for credit only. After 90 days, there are no further warranty or support obligations owed to you. All component parts or hardware products returned under this limited warranty become the property of us.


You are responsible for paying shipping charges for the return of any defective parts to us during the warranty period. We are not responsible for any shipping damages incurred in transit from the customer to us. We will pay for ground shipping costs related to the return of the repaired or replaced product to you.


Third-Party Products

Third party products are sold “as is” without any implied warranties between you and V3. We will use reasonable efforts to assign, transfer and facilitate all warranties (if any) and third party service level commitments (if any) for the Third Party Products to you, but will have no liability whatsoever for the quality, functionality, performance, compatibility or operability of any Third Party Products, and we will not be held liable as an insurer or guarantor of the performance, uptime, security, functionality or usefulness of any Third Party Products.


Third-Party Purchases

Third-parties that purchase, resell, or transfer ownership of V3 products to other entities, the warranty is a pass-thru 30-day parts exchange when available from the OEM. Third-party purchasers are not entitled to any returns or credit under this warranty. At your request we will modify or custom configure your order. We are not responsible for nor do we guarantee functionality, compatibility, or warranty. At our discretion, we may use refurbished, used or remanufactured parts or end of life components as necessary in order to meet your technology requirements. Any damages or misrepresentation is the sole responsibility of the buyer.


Third-Party Purchase restrictions do not apply to leasing companies or Value-Added Resellers (VARs). For VARs who resell and transfer ownership of V3 products directly to their end-user customers, the warranty is 90 days return for credit. For leasing companies who transfer ownership of V3 products directly to their end-user customers, all V3 warranty rights, privileges, and obligations shall transfer directly to the end customer. V3 reserves the right to determine who it considers eligible for warranty considerations under this section. All other terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations apply.


International Purchases

For products purchased directly from us by you outside of the United States, the warranty is 90 days return for credit with no other implied or expressed warranty. All other terms, conditions, restrictions, exclusions, limitations, and obligations apply. This encompasses our entire warranty and is the customer’s exclusive remedy from us.


International Purchases

Products purchased directly from V3 are intended for domestic use only. Without prior approval from us, all products are to remain within the United States. All other terms, conditions, restrictions, exclusions, limitations, and obligations apply.


Exclusions

This warranty does not cover any third-party software, licensing, support, product recalls, manufacturer defects, ownership transfer fees, return to service fees, revision level, or compatibility issues related to hardware, firmware, and software. Our warranty does not apply to PCs, laptops, tablets, printers or end-point devices of any kind.


We do not warrant damages or defects to products purchased from us caused as result of acts of God, war, civil unrest/disobedience (or general hooliganism), acts of terrorism (domestic and international), cybercrime, vandalism, abuse, neglect, accident, misuse, power fluctuations, usage of parts or components not supplied by us, unsupported components, any shipping damage incurred when shipped on the customer’s account, preventative maintenance, software, viruses, peripherals, data breaches, or from other related causes. Our warranty does not apply to any loss or damage associated or related to insurance-related claims.


Warranty Process

To obtain service under the our warranty, you must contact us within the warranty period with a description of the issue or problem, the part number, and serial number of the product(s). All products must be returned to V3 within 30 business once a credit has been issued. After 30 days, you the customer will be invoiced and must pay for the replacement cost of the product plus any applicable taxes and shipping charges. When requesting warranty for Certified HPE Genuine Replacement Parts, all warranties are to be claimed through V3 Distribution.


You must provide reasonable cooperation and troubleshooting efforts to facilitate and/or receive warranty services. The customer is responsible for deleting data on persistent storage devices as well as backing-up data, device configurations, firmware packages, patches, software releases, and operating system software before returning any products that may have customer specific, proprietary, confidential, or company information. We assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or otherwise unauthorized use, access, or dissemination of customer data resulting from our warranty.


Miscellaneous

All products honored under our Warranty must be returned to us. At its discretion, V3 may waive customer parts return obligations. For claims made that do not fall under our warranty, the issue will be considered depot repair and the customer will be responsible for all labor, materials, and shipping costs. Repairs and parts replacements resulting from conditions other than defined above, will be billed at our current bench rate plus applicable parts costs. We will provide a good faith estimate of all parts and labor costs associated with the repair and the customer must to pay the invoice in full within 30 days of receiving the invoice from us.


Other

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE. WE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT FOR THE OBLIGATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT, V3 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR LOSSES IN PROFITS, LOSS IN REVENUE, LOSS IN SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA, DOWNTIME, COSTS OF CAPITAL, COSTS OF REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT (TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT), COSTS OF TIME, DATA BREACHES OR SUBSEQUENT LIABILITY CLAIMS FROM THIRD-PARTIES CLAIMING FINANCIAL INJURY OR LOSS TO PROPERTY.
